The Napolinova International Music Academy, born from the thirty years of work of the Napolinova Association, aims, through courses taught by Maestro Leonid Margarius, one of the most famous teachers of the Russian school, teacher and educator of many artists and winners of the most prestigious international competitions, to offer young people the opportunity to study systematically with one of the world's greatest teachers and to benefit from opportunities for professional growth, including through the many concerts organised.

- the BEETHOVEN PROJECT, organised for the bicentenary of his death, which involves the performance of all five concertos for piano and orchestra. Ten students will take part in the project, selected by the maestro during the first lesson from among all those who expressed an interest in the application form. Each concerto will be assigned to two students, who will be given the opportunity to perform it on two pianos, with Maestro Margarius. The courses are held in the ‘Sala Chopin’ in the historic Palazzo Mastelloni in the centre of Naples, the home of music and site of historic music venues such as the Teatro San Carlo and the Conservatorio di San Pietro a Maiella. at the historic Ditta Alberto Napolitano Pianoforti 1840, one of the oldest Italian companies, founded in 1860, exclusive Steinway dealer, which will offer its magnificent pianos and technical support. The Academy is managed by the Napolinova Association, which has been organising courses, masterclasses and concerts in Naples with the world's greatest artists and teachers since 1995.
- The courses, through their various modes of participation, will offer everyone the opportunity to participate according to their needs and achieve their desired goals, reaching the highest level of artistic and professional fulfilment.
The annual course does not require an entrance exam.
Admission to the three-year and two-year courses is based on the submission of a video of no more than 15 minutes to be attached to the application form. Those who are not admitted will have their fees refunded.
- ANNUAL COURSE is open to everyone with no age limit. Free study programme to be agreed with the teacher based on individual needs and expectations. Aimed at those who, without programme or exam obligations, want to improve their musical, professional and teaching skills, deepening their repertoire and possibly preparing for competitions and concerts. A certificate of participation will be issued.
- PLURIANNUAL COURSE is open to young people up to the age of 18. It is aimed at young people who, due to their age, cannot enrol in the three-year course but want to begin a course of study with Maestro Margarius in order to prepare adequately for the three-year course. The study programme includes the preparation of a programme to be presented at the confirmation exam. An annual certificate of attendance will be issued.
- THREE-YEAR COURSE is open to pianists aged 18 and over of any nationality, with progress exams and final diploma exams held in the presence of a commission made up of the teacher and other eminent figures from the international piano scene.
This course aims to prepare students for major international activities by enhancing their individual characteristics through preparatory study, personalized programs, the choice of competitions where they can gradually prepare for major international competitions, and various performance opportunities that will be offered to participants both in Naples and in other cities. The programme includes the preparation of an annual concert programmed to be performed during the progress exams. In the third year, students will also study a concerto for piano and orchestra to be performed at the diploma examination.
VIRTUOSITY COURSE - BIENNIAL - open to students who have obtained a three-year diploma from the academy or to those who will take the entrance exam. The course is aimed at pianists who want to deepen their repertoire and technique to reach a higher level of professionalism. It involves the study and performance of a concert program and a diploma concert for piano and orchestra. The pieces studied and performed must be different from those presented in the three-year course exams.
RULES
- The lessons are held every two months and consist of five sessions from October to June.
- All courses consist of four hours of lessons per session, divided into two lessons for a total of 20 hours. It will be possible to add additional hours of lessons to the proposed training plan.
- For the three-year and two-year courses, an examination certificate and final diploma will be issued, signed by the commission. For the one-year course, a certificate of attendance or examination certificate with a mark and the commission's signature will be issued if requested by the student.

• It will be possible enroll at course even after the course has started. A fee will be paid equal to the number of lessons to be attended until the end of the course - Application fee for active participants and auditors: €150 – Refundable only in case of course cancellation.
- The first session of the course will begin on 28 October 2026. The dates of subsequent sessions will be announced during the previous session.
- Participation fee: € 2150 - Auditors € 400.
- Exame fee: Annual: € 100 - Final diploma (three-year and two-year courses): € 150
- It is possible to add additional teaching hours during the year, in addition to those provided for in the training plan
- The participation fee must be paid in two instalments, half before the first meeting and half before the third meeting
- Withdrawal does not exempt the student from the obligation to pay the full contribution. Enrolment implies acceptance of these regulations.
