International Piano Prize
Edition 2026
RULES
- The Napolinova International Piano Prize is open to pianists of all nationalities 35 years old and youngers.
It will be held in the Chopin Hall of the Palazzo Mastelloni, Piazza Carità n. 6, Napoli, July 4 – 5, 2026. - Repertoire: a free program of maximum 25 minutes in length.
- Application deadline: June 13, 2026.
- Candidates will be heard in alphabetical order starting with the letter drawn on June 20 at 12 pm noon live on Facebook from the Chopin Room. Candidates will receive an email with the day and time of their test.

- Entry fee payment receipt
- Copy of valid ID (if minor, include ID of parent or legal guardian)
- Travel and lodging expenses are the candidate’s own responsibility. The organization does not assume any responsibility for missed or late-arriving communications to the competitors, nor does it accept responsibility for damages or injuries during the competition.
- Those jury members who have had teacher-student relationships with any of the competitors within the last 12 months must inform the chairperson and mut refrain from taking part in both the voting and the voting process in relation to the abovementioned competitors. At the start of the Competition, each Jury member must provide a written declaration of his/her personal relationship with each contestant as indicated above.
- The decisions of the Jury are final and cannot be appealed. The jury will vote by secret ballot. The vote will be calculated as a mathematical average, excluding the highest and lowest scores. The prizes will be collected at the end of the trials when the results are announced. Prizes will not be sent by mail. The modalities of the award concerts will be agreed with the associations that offer them.
- Entry fee: € 100
- Applications must be received in full. Any bank fees must be paid by the sender, or the application will be deemed not valid.
- These Rules and Regulations were prepared in Italian and English. Should there be any doubts regarding their interpretation, the Italian version shall prevail.
- Entry fee must be payed:
- With Paypal, as a donation, increasing every application fee by euros 5 to cover the PayPal fees

The first-prize scholarship is divided as follows:
•Euro 1000.00 given by bank transfer for prize “Napolinova”
•Euro 800 for a Concert offered by ASS. Maggio della Musica - Napoli - 2027 edition
•Euro 400 for a Concert offered by ASS. Mozart Italia Castelli Romani) – 2027 edition
•Euro 200 for a Concert offered by ‘Camera Musicale Romana’ – Sala dei Lecci - Rome
•Euro 200 for a concert offered by Ass. Pergolesi at Teatro Garibaldi - S. M. Capua Vetere (CE)- 2027
•Euro 400 as Scholarship for participation in a masterclass (three lessons) during of the
International Annual Piano Course 2026/2027 held by M° Margarius for the Napolinova Association
Second prize: Scholarship of 1.600 euro and certificate
The second-prize scholarship is divided as follows:
•Euro 600.00 given by bank transfer for prize “Napolinova”
•Euro 200 for a Concert offered by Lab. Artistico Multimedia - Bassano in Teverina (VT) 2026/27
•Euro 200 for a concert at Ass. Culturale Colle Ionci (Palazzo Caetani – Cisterna di Latina) – 2026/27
•Euro 200 offered By Evangelical Lutheran Community for a concert at Napoli – 2026/2027
•Euro 400 as Scholarship for participation in a masterclass (three lessons) during of the
International Annual Piano Course 2026/2027 held by M° Margarius for the Napolinova Association
Third prize: Scholarship of 1000 euro and certificate
The third-prize scholarship is divided as follows:
•Euro 400 given by bank transfer for prize “Mariapia Ansalone - Napolitano”
•Euro 200 for a concert at “Piano City Napoli” – 2026 edition
•Euro 400 as Scholarship for participation in a masterclass (three lessons) during of the
International Annual Piano Course 2026/2027 held by M° Margarius for the Napolinova Association
